“I am writing to highly recommend a Sports Factor birthday party. My son already goes to Sports Factor Holiday Clubs and has a brilliant time but yesterday we hired James to do his 6th Birthday. Many of the parents stayed and were also impressed and excited to watch every single child have the best time. The mix of traditional and brand-new games and great music made the party fun. However, what you get when you hire James is so much more than organised games. James is simply amazing with kids. He has a balance of command, fun and likability that is unsurpassed. The extra ingredient he brings to his work, had the children and parents laughing and the parents saying they wanted to join in. All the parents loved seeing their children let their inhibitions go, giggle, run and actually clear up at speed! Children’s parties can be 2 hours of intense mayhem, but we got to watch James wear out our son and friends without much work on our part. Hiring James was a great decision and we can’t recommend him enough. ”

“My two children have been attending the Sports Factor school holiday club for 4 years now and have thoroughly enjoyed it. As a working parent, it is difficult having to leave your children during the school holidays and you want the reassurance that they are still having fun and enjoying themselves.

James does a fantastic job of keeping the children entertained with a great variation of activities, games, competitions, dance shows and themed fancy dress days. Each day offers something different and they are always really looking forward to the next day's activities.

The group always has a really friendly, welcoming feel, it is also great for encouraging team work amongst the children and they always come home having made new friends.

I can't recommend the Sports Factor enough. It offers superb childcare in a safe and happy environment whilst at the same time being great value for money. My children have loved every minute and, although both now sadly too old to attend, have some great memories of their time there. ”

Sports factor activities are aimed at all capabilities and support the children to develop their listening and gross motor skills in a fun way. “James Smith has been working as a sports coach at Turnfurlong Infant School for 6 years. James teaches PE lessons, starting at Reception through to Year 2. He specialises in Multiskills and links his planning to the new national curriculum. The children love learning new skills and developing these whilst playing fun and engaging games. James also runs lunchtime and after school clubs throughout the year. These include tennis, Tag and football. He also leads tournaments and festivals where other local schools are invited to come and participate. James is an integral part of school life at Turnfurlong Infant School and the children are inspired by his enthusiasm. ”

“James has worked with us at Hawridge & Cholesbury for several years and now teaches all classes from Reception to Year 6. 'Games with James' is the highlight of the children's week. His lessons are full of fun activities which totally engage children of all abilities, developing their skills and creativity. James seems to have limitless enthusiasm and energy and inspires the children to strive to do their best. He delivers sessions which follow the National Curriculum, providing detailed lesson plans. James is willing to provide a wide range of clubs to suit the school's needs - he is currently running a tennis club. He has also been involved in training year 6 pupils to be lunchtime playground leaders which proved very successful.”

“We initially used Sports Factor to fill a gap in providing lunch time and after school clubs. However, the take up was incredible and we soon noticed an increased level of enthusiasm for P.E and sport among those children taking part. We have continued to use Sports Factor for this purpose and they currently provide four lunchtime and three after school clubs for us in a variety of sports. With the provision of the sports Premium we have been able to use the Sports Factor to provide 50% of our P.E teaching and provide valuable CPD opportunities for our teaching staff. Their approach to teaching ensures that all children are able to access the P.E curriculum, make progress and more importantly enjoy participating in P.E lessons.”

“I have twins aged 8 they have been going to Sports Factor for the last couple of years. Being a working mum it was hard to find a place my children were looked after and happy during the holidays. We did trial a few other holiday places but the kids loved Sports Factor overall.

The kids love playing the games and being in teams which made them feel part of something great. With the variety of activities on offer and themed days, they love every moment they are there.

I would not class my children as ‘sporty’ but they are active and it is nice for them to enjoy competitive team games that allow all levels of capabilities that make them fun with chances to achieve personal achievements and trophies.

“Gracie and Cole (my son and daughter) have been attending Sports Factor in the holidays for the last 2 years and absolutely love it!

James and his team make them feel at home right away and they enjoy spending their days playing sports and games, doing drawing or playing outside.

Their favourite activities are waterfight Wednesdays and fancy dress Fridays.
My children enjoy it so much that they have also had Sports Factor parties for their birthdays. These are professionally run and great value for money – as are the holiday clubs.

Sports Factor also run PE lessons at the children’s school, which they look forward to every week.
